Learning to make delicious pickles

This past Saturday, my mother-in-law, bff Emily & I learned how to make Mrs. Martha Mosley's famous pickles.  These pickles entered my life when I met Lance a few years ago, and I have ever since showcased them at various events.  We had them at our rehearsal dinner, and they became a favorite for everyone in my family as well.  The one & only Martha Mosley makes the pickles and she wanted to share the recipe with us.  Of course, we will continue to get our pickles from Mrs. Martha for now, but this will be a handed down recipe in our family from here on out.  The pickles are absolutely delicious, and if you ever come visit me, I'll be sure to share.  One of the secret ingredients is jalapenos, so just imagine how good they are!

You enjoy the pictures while I go eat some pickles :-)

November 20, 2010

Almost 2 months ago, I married my best friend. I know you hear of people saying this all the time, but honestly, truly, madly, deeply (good song, eh?)...I married my best friend. Lance is more than I could have ever hoped for. Honestly, I feel as though I don't deserve him. But I know God put us together for a reason. Before Lance came into my life, my personal life was headed no where. Once he got a hold of me, I straightened up...big time! I love him to pieces and I can't wait to share the rest of my life with him.

Saturday, November 20th was a blur. I wasn't nearly as stressed as I (and everyone else) thought I would be. The only "help" I had was a Mimosa to start the day off and a glass of champagne for the toast. Honestly, I didn't take any happy pills!! All of I have from this special day are the wonderful memories, pictures and fantastic wedding video that our cousins made for us. I wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures that I have received so far.... Unfortunately Blogger is not allowing me to post the pictures in the order that I want, so you'll just have to imagine the chain of events...
